I was sorry to read in the news today about the intense flooding taking place at the moment in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We had a similar experience last year, which was quite disruptive for some dialysis centers whose patients and staff had problems accessing the facilities.
I am part of the ERA Kidney Relief in Disasters Task Force which is dedicated to helping our colleagues who might find themselves in the middle of a man-made or natural disaster. Many of our members have extensive experience in this field. Should you have any questions or issues that you or your colleagues would want to alert us about, any guidance or other kind of help, please don’t hesitate to letting me know
