As a consequence of the growing interest for the activities of our association from members living outside of Europe, the Council of ERA-EDTA (European Renal Association – European Dialysis and Transplant Association) decided to create the “ERA-EDTA COMMITTEE FOR INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS” (ComIA).

The ERA-EDTA ComIA has recently launched its first CLINICAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM, offering young investigators and clinicians living in emerging countries outside Europe, not bordering Europe or the Mediterranean Sea, an opportunity to apply for a clinical fellowship that they would not normally be able to obtain under the traditional ERA-EDTA Fellowship Program.

All clinical fellowships however must be performed in Europe, or bordering countries.
The deadline to apply is February 28, 2013.
The form to apply and its regulations can be downloaded from the following link:

We kindly invite you to inform as many young doctors as possible about this opportunity.

More information on ComIA and its initiatives is available in the ERA-EDTA COMMITTEE FOR INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS section of our official website.

With our best regards,

Prof. Raymond Vanholder
ERA-EDTA President

Prof. Ziad Massy
