Dear Colleagues,

We are honored to host in Timisoara, between September 26-29, 2013, the 11th Edition of the Balkan Cities Association of Nephrology, Dialysis, Transplantation and Artficial Organs (BANTAO) Congress.

As always, top lecturers will be present, with a schedule that will include plenary conferences with the latest achievements in Clinic Nephrology, including Pediatric Nephrology, Dialysis, Transplantation, and interdisciplinary topics related to Hypertension or Diabetes. The scientific program will be complex, from plenary sessions, roundtables, symposia to “Meet the expert session”. Also, there will be a poster session, some of which will be selected as oral presentations.

This year, too, we are rejoicing ERA-EDTA’s support, by organising a CME course entitled “Improving the patient and graft survival in kidney transplantation – an update”.

The host of this year’s Congress will be Timisoara, the largest city in the western part of the country, a multicultural, modern city, which will delight by its special architectural character and cosmopolitan air. Starting from Piata Unirii (Union Square), where you will find the Roman Catholic Episcopal Cathedral, the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Baroque Palace, and continuing to Piata Operei (Opera Square), you will reach the Orthodox Cathedral and the Bega River which crosses the city. Nicknamed “City of Parks” and “Little Vienna”, Timisoara will be a delight and a unique experience for those who love history, but also romantic walks or novel culinary experiences.

Feel free to visit the Congress’ website to keep up to date with all the details:
